I would prune the wikipedia/commons directory on the find step for testing. That's what will chew up the most i/o after all. By the time you're ready for production you can run a find just on commons and the ten largest projects, say, and fold that into the previous list. -- ArielGlenn 08:29, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
