Request for page move
Hey, I saw you are a content administrator. Could you please move Template:GPLv3 to Template:GPLv3+? This is due to a merger on Commons. c:Template:GPLv3 is getting deprecated and redirected to c:Template:GPLv3 only in due course, while c:Template:GPLv3+ will take on the role of GPLv3. You can read about this merger at c:Template talk:GPLv3. This creates a problem. If a file with this template is moved with a tool like mtc-cli after GPLv3 is redirected to GPLv3 only, then we have effectively got a licensing change (GPLv3 or later -> GPLv3 only). Therefore, it is structurally necessary to move this template to GPLv3+.
Furthermore, the SPDX (which is like a database of licenses) to identify GPLv3 only is actually GPL-3.0, so it makes little sense to keep this template here.
If you do move it, please do so without redirect due to the above problems. I can assist with replacing transclusions of GPLv3 with GPLv3+. Cheers, Matrixon Commons, Matr1xon Wikitech (Talk to me!) 09:55, 22 July 2024 (UTC)

Approved to join the Toolforge standards committee
Congratulations! The WMF would like to appoint you to join the Toolforge standards committee as a 2024 cohort member. The policies state that the Wikimedia Foundation's Volunteer NDA must be signed by a nominee before being appointed. We have created task T374993 to track the process of making sure that everyone has signed the NDA agreement.
If you know that you have not yet signed the Volunteer NDA, please create the initial request to start the process. If you have already signed an NDA and are a member of the WMF-NDA Phabricator project, please update the table in phab:T374993 to link to the task tracking that NDA process.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me on my talk page, by email, or on irc as appropriate. I look forward to working with you to make Toolforge better. -- BryanDavis (talk) 18:18, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
