Deleting abandoned projects in Labs

Hi, Your projects Puppet-cleanup has been identified as having "no running instances." We would like to know whether the project is still active and functional. Please reply to this post if they are still functioning. This will help the ongoing process to identify abandoned projects and delete them from Labs.--Sandaru (talk) 18:56, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Rights request

Dear Tim. I am m:User:MarcoAurelio, I'm a steward at the foundation projects and I'm writting to inquire about if you could grant me admin and oversight access here at wikitech. Recently, a vandal with abusive usernames which also post very abusive content to some fellow stewards and other de.wp users have been active here (now from some time), and being able to redact such names from logs (with the hideuser flag from Special:Block) and revisions from histories would be great. As steward I have already signed the confidentialy agreement for nonpublic information, and have been on the projects for several years now, so, and while it might be bad that I say so, I feel I can be trusted with such an access here. Please consult with the other cloudadmins if you have to (since the cloudadmin group is the one having 'userrights'). Thank you for your time. Best regards, --MarcoAurelio (talk) 17:13, 31 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Did you mean to attach your account to SUL before renaming?

Your 'Tim Starling' Developer account has been associated with the 'Tim Starling (WMF)' SUL account using the idm.wikimedia.org account management tool. While attempting to rename the legacy 'Tim Starling' Wikitech account I found that it has already been attached to a SUL account with the same name. It is not clear if this SUL attachment was a delibrate choice you made or if it was a side effect of a confusing migration from Developer accounts to SUL accounts here on Wikitech.

If you feel this was an error, and that you would like to have the 'Tim Starling' Wikitech account renamed to match the previously claimed 'Tim Starling (WMF)' SUL account, please leave a comment on phab:T386026 stating "Please detach 'Tim Starling' from SUL, rename it to 'Tim Starling (WMF)', and reattach to SUL."

If you deliberately attached the 'Tim Starling' Wikitech account to a matching SUL account, or if you don't much care either way, congratulations you don't need to do anything at all. -- BryanDavis (talk) 22:20, 10 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
